The 2nd single from Luke's forthcoming mini album, the alt-rock driven 'World's Going Backwards' is a dry but bitter look at the unfortunate way our world seems to heading, backwards.

Have we learnt nothing from the past?
How far do we need to go before looking back?
It's not ancient history.

I know it doesn't seem in black and white,
real enough to keep these serpents up at night,
as they squeeze out our last breaths.
Their education only taught them to be greedy enough
that they can sit and watch it burn in abject comfort.

Seems like the world's going backwards now,
history's rolling back around,
repeating the same mistakes somehow,
have we learnt nothing from our past?

Just let me complete the training,
and i'll be the best astronaut the world has ever seen,
BLAST OFF! That's the last you'll see of me!
This really don't need explaining,
our good will alone won't stop them long enough to read,
the lessons from the latest century.
